This week's newsletter breaks down Atlassian's Q2 FY21 earnings.

As both an investor & developer, I've been impressed with their platform and the friction they remove in delivering a unified cloud-based collaboration platform. https://blog.publiccomps.com/weekly-dashboard-1-29-2021-atlassian-team-earnings/
1/ Company Overview

Atlassian's mission is to "unleash the potential in every team". They sell software to help teams organize, discuss and complete their work. These were designed to help developers collaborate with other non-developer teams involved in software innovation.
2/ Products include:

- Jira for team planning and project management
- Confluence for team content creation and sharing
- HipChat for team messaging and communications
- Bitbucket for team code sharing and management
- Jira Service Desk for team services and support applications
3/ Strategy

Atlassian's highly efficient GTM is the paragon in B2B SaaS.

$TEAM focused on enabling a self-service, low-friction model that makes it easy for new users to try, adapt, and use their products.

This perpetuated the developer-focused flywheel.
4/ TAM

$TEAM claims technical & knowledge worker market is worth $126B w/ an addressable market of $24B.

One of the ways I evaluate management teams is their ability to increase their own TAM. $TEAM claims they've grown their own opportunity at a 35% CAGR over the past 4 years.
Atlassian is a $57B company, but continues to dominate the developer tools & collaboration space!

$TEAM doesn't report net dollar retention but noted in their 2020 analyst day that they had a 121% cloud net expansion rate and this was 130% for medium & large customers.
