Indie wrestling works in cycles. The start of the decade is spent patiently rebuilding a battered scene after it's been run into the ground, with 6 or so years of bliss afterwards.
The start of the 00's built to a hot 2002 - 2006.
The start of 2010 built to a great 2014 - 2018.

Now we're at that rebuilding process again, but it's not going to take if everyone is still constantly shouting about how great everything is.
Lets be real; it's not good. Be serious. There's a lot of work to be done. There's certainly promise but we're on the ground floor.

My concern is that a lot of fans are in denial, & the promoters/wrestlers are going to carry on with the same BS to appease those already on the kool aid instead of growing and bringing everyone up. In a few more years we could have that mid-00's ROH and 2010's PWG feeling again.
To the wrestlers & promoters; don't be stagnant. Always be looking to constantly improve. Tell stories. Make the big companies look terrible by comparison.
To the fans: be supportive, pop the bubble & have higher standards. Don't be afraid to critique or say something sucked.
