I am pretty vocal on this front, so kind of feel the need to explain myself. 
We can agree/disagree, but no hard feelings either way.
I have had a problem with Miran's imaginings of his mom from the very beginning of the show. But, back then she was used as a symbol

and was basically a representation of Miran's childlike yearnings and sufferings. Honestly, I was never a fan of how he often compared Reyyan to his mom, but again, she was the purest and dearest memory to him, so...
She is no longer that. She is very much alive.

Depending on where you're from mother-son relationship is topic of many discussions. To be called mamma's boy is rarely a good thing.
The problem I see is not that he is having such feelings. She is his mother whom he thought had died some 30 years ago.

The problem comes from the fact they are not showing any intent of labelling his current behaviour as, well for lack of a better word, unhealthy.
Having such attachment to a parent is not good. It is not good for him, or for Reyyan and their relationship.

We have seen six to seven hours of Hercai since she's gotten back. And not for a single minute/scene have we seen an 'adult' Miran in front of her.
He's sitting in front of her door, he is making decisions about moving into the house prompted solely by her return

without consulting Reyyan, he sets onto bringing a virtual stranger into their life, again just to please her.
Understandable - yes, because she is his mom and she couldn't possibly be the cause of any harm or conflict?! But, reality is different and what's worrying +

is absence of any grown-up decision making. He turns into a child. His reactions are child-like. He regresses.
And again, there is no indication about whether they will simply push this behaviour (which is not good) or have him be delusional until hell breaks loose

Personally, I am all for the latter. He needs to surpass the trauma and attachment formed with the memory of his mom and all it represents.
He is a husband and is to be a father. I feel conflict arising from this and I hope for a good outcome.

He needs to understand that she both has a problem and is also causing problems.
Again, we need to be aware of the cultural context as well. Mothers are regarded differently in that area and that's a fact...but we'll see.

I have rooted for Miran for two years and I don't want all progress wasted.
I don't WANT him to be downgraded to this point. I want lover-boy Miran, not mamma's boy Miran. For me, and for many others, those two can't coexist within the same person.
