if you listen to their music - it’s weird. It’s real punk. Too punk for mainstream radio. They’re a bands band. There’s were HUNDREDS of obscure weird punk bands that influenced the scene that didn’t blow up in popularity but because THIS one didn’t, it must have been racism
People these days like to talk a lot about privilege ... but I can’t think of anything more privileged than a modern iPhone Starbucks drinking shmuck face sifting through history on Wikipedia and painting EVERYTHING with a racist brush.

I think of Bam Bam’s music was actually good and marketable, the scene would have easily embraced ANYONE irregardless of skin color - but hey, maybe I’m just an optimist
