I bash 'wokeness' b/c so much of it DIRECTLY interferes with actually helping people. If bad study habits cause low test scores for urban and especially Black kids, telling them the REAL cause of the gap is that math tests are "racist whiteness" is literally worse than useless.

(2) The underlying "battlefield terrain" here is very simple: we have a reasonably fair society today, where ~18 Asian/Black groups out-earn whites. But, poverty and cultural issues partly linked to earlier conflict hamper other groups (including some white ones) in competition.

(3) The ACTUAL solution here is to relieve poverty for all (preferably by work), and to fix cultural hold-overs like localized gang violence or outsider attitudes toward education. Blaming contemporary racism for all gaps or teaching kids "success is whiteness" harms, not helps.
