I will be dismantling this uncerebral attempt at imposing a lowbrow reading onto the Quran. As well as presenting the coherence of the Quran by using Surah Al-Muzzamil.

It is pertinent to note that he is categorising the verses into Makki and Medani as if to imply Quranic themes are dictated by the revelation order. Nay, rather the Quran employs themes in a circular manner. Surah al-Muzzamil for instance is split into three parts
the first part as you can see pertains to the prophet's worries over his people disbelieving. God in his infinite love consolodated the holy prophet, prompting him to ease his maladies through prayer and not to despond due to the belligerent reproaches of the arrogant
God then directs his speech to the vehement rejecters of truths warning them of the retribution of their vice by reminding them of the reckong brought upon Firawn, as well as expressing his providence over his beloved messenger.
Finally, the third section returns to the prophet briefly before addressing the believers, pardons them for not reaching perfection yet and encourages them to devote themselves and seek salvation in forgiveness
We can see that given the position of the prophet in Mekkah it would make sense for section 2 to be revealed first in response to the disbeleivers. Section 1 and 3 would then be revealed during times of dispondence. We can see a dualistic nature to the Quran where revealed-
-verses apply to a given situation and form the universal corpus with great harmony. Given this it is far from reason to assume that the prophet was expressing his bohemian tendancies only to comfort himself when his supposed insecurities occured in real time
Are we to believe that a mentally ill deranged individual conjured up prose expressing his insecurities only for it to be consistent retrsoepctively? All whilst having a seizure!
