Might be a long thread but I wanna start off with this: I am not calling for anyone's head or claiming anyone is blatantly racist or saying there was an ill intentions involved in the process.

Calling it "Haida art" is what really irks me.

I don't know what the best way to rectify this is, but I don't see any difference between Dave Gunnarsson's Thunderbird design and Graham's Sun design

I don't know who the fault goes to in a situation like this, did the artist seek out free vectors of Northwest Coast Indigenous "Art" or did he get a fast one pulled on him by Graham Langbroek?

Pay for authentic indigenous art or don't use it at all. I'm a little tired of the Canucks organization boasting about their relationships with indigenous people when they can't even ensure their players are going about using indigenous art in the proper way.
I'm annoyed. I'm not going to lose sleep over this, but I wanted to voice my issues with it so I did.

It doesn't look good and you have no idea what these designs mean to the Nations you claim to be doing a "style" of art of.
I wish Demko had a legit Haida design on his mask, even if it was small.
