It’s funny. I’m 43, or old af. Been a #Colts fan for over 30 years. The amount of blah I’ve seen pass through the Circle City wearing a Horseshoe is ridiculous. Let me assure you-legion of youthful fans you are-this team is in good hands. Better than good, actually. A thread...
We were granted the right to draft Peyton Manning as a result of being a team mired in deficiency. You don’t go 1-15 accidentally. Sure, we’d had some close calls with Harbaugh. Some really talented players. But let’s be honest. The GMs we had failed, the coaches failed, until...
Bill Polian (and Peyton Manning) arrived. For more than a decade, Irsay watched greatness work. In the draft room, scouting, every facet of the organization thrived.

And then it didn’t. Polian neared retirement and nepotism took its toll on our roster. Again, we were granted
Andrew Luck. But Irsay made a mistake in the GM hire. But that wasn’t evident immediately. Luck. Hilton. Ballard. Vontae Davis. The future appeared bright. Then we started seeing the signs. Heard the whispers. Trent Richardson. Free agency. The draft. Fail after fail.
And then.

Chris Ballard comes to Indy. He’s personable, unlike Grigson, and warm, unlike Polian at times. He’s also a little cocky while staying humble, and immediately the talent was evident. And he’s savvy, see Jets trade down. And smart, like DeForest Buckner for #13.
There are bright days ahead, we’ll get our QB eventually. I rest a little easier knowing it won’t be because we’re picking first overall after our team fell on it’s face. I see the up arrow neon red with this team, and I don’t see it fading anytime soon. #ColtsNation
