The Democrats, and Biden, absolutely need to give everyone the full $2000 checks that people were promised. I am not interested in threads trying to prove he "meant" $1400 all along.

I have a lot of mutuals who are doing math all over their timeline to "prove" that Biden always meant $1400, and ultimately: I do not care and I do not believe it matters.
A perception was crafted that we would receive checks with a $2000 amount on it, and that must be honored.

We can argue all day whether they meant to craft that impression (read: lies) or misunderstood their own messaging (read: royally fucked-up), except that it does not matter. This cannot be Rules-Lawyered away in the public mind. $2000 checks were promised and should be delivered.
