The question the left never seems to address in their dystopian view of American historical oppression of the worker or systemic racism is why our grandparents could afford a nice house in a nice area with one person working in a grocery store as a cashier.
My grandfather supported his family, a house and a car working for the railroad starting at the lowest paid position.

My grandmother's second husband started saving from his first trucker job in his early 20's and used that money in his retirement.
My grandfather had a high school education and my step-grandfather dropped out in 8th grade and never learned to read.
And don't give me this 'white privilege' nonsense.

They both worked alongside black workers who lived in the same poor, rural area.

Everyone was poor.
Equally.
Yet they still managed.
All of them.
