Mussolini wasn't a weak leader but was a horrible one. Trump was both weak & horrible. Trump did not take full responsability for followers' terrorist acts as Mussolini did. what emerges is that things would have been much more terrible (even more fascist danger for dictatorship) if Trump contemplated risk (even self-sacrifice) as Mussolini or many other fascist leaders did. But he did not go to Capitol with his followers & stayed comfy at WH
but if the fascist terrorists succeeded in their killing intentions during the assault on the Capitol, the result would have been similar to the Matteoti killing by followers of Mussolini. But thankfully history did not repeat itself in this way!!!
Conclusion: Trump is a weak leader & wannabe fascist & thus different to more dangerous fanatic, suicidal fascists such as Mussolini, Lugones or Hitler.Trump's enablers were not different to other enablers of fascism.Trump's terrorist followers were similar to fascist followers.
