This is why I am not all that interested in the death-count debate. The terms of inflicting lockdowns have not been settled as much as presupposed, let alone a discussion about the competences of government vs individuals.

So, we now have a government which does not know it, but which is the most authoritarian for a long time, pretending to be reluctant to use its powers to hold the entire population under house arrest, to abolish freedom of speech, and to take whatever it wants from the public.

It was just 'three weeks to flatten the curve'. But they may well yet be taking your home, your pension, your savings, as well as your income for the year, and your job or your business, and your children's education.

And you may have to borrow from the banks to pay the bill.

Their only reply to us pointing out where this was *inevitably* going to take us was to call us callous granny-killers.

Remember, also, that in addition to taxing any wealth you have (i.e. you home), their plan for "recovery" mandates that you retrofit your home, which will cost you 20K at a bare minimum (more like £75k min.), making energy too expensive to use, and abolishing private transport...

They are out of control. They are insane. They are more dangerous than almost any virus. There's no PPE you can wear to protect yourself from a degenerate government.
