The change Wolves and Adama Traoré need to make in order to improve and explode. #wwfc

This may be an unpopular opinion at first, but when you keep reading and dig deeper, you'll see why it actually makes perfect sense.

Adama Traoré as a CM.
Adama's best asset is undeniably his pace, which is like nothing we've ever seen in Football. And to go hand in hand with this, he is an elite ball carrier. This is what Wolves, being a counter-attacking team need to take advantage of, and we'll show you how and why.
First, let's talk about him at RW. When Wolves have the ball he is all the way out to the right, this is partly due to the notion that Adama 'can't finish'. However, since joining Wolves his finishing and shooting technique has actually improved, but he doesnt use it as much.
Being stuck out on the Right Wing in Wolves' current system gives him one option. Run and cross. This then creates the perception of being a one trick pony, when realistically he doesn't have any other options there, and it isn't advantageous due to the lack of numbers in the box
"Why should he play CM, he doesn't do enough off the ball?"

Traoré needs to play infront of two more defensive midfielders. He would slot in the gap behind the striker and infront of the CM's, but not as the traditional creator 10. The ball carrying 10 is the way forward.
Think of every time Adama has started an amazing attack, or he has shown his potential world class ability. 90% of the time it has started in the middle. Examples showing him starting deeper centrally and driving forward, winning key fouls in great areas.
Driving from deep centrally will give him the option to play the ball out wide to Neto and Podence, or if the opportunity arises; to take the shot himself. Just like he did in his best season where he scored vs Man City and Spurs due to being in these areas.
Will it weaken Wolves in midfield? No. Wolves already use Dendoncker to drive forward, when his best talent before joining Wolves was the opposite, sitting back and winning the ball. Adama playing here will help Dendoncker get back to his best 'destroyer' position
The #10 is more often than not given a free role, where he doesn't have as many defensive duties in order to be as productive as possible in attack. With Neves and Dendoncker behind him, this will benefit Adama.
Especially as in the modern cross-heavy game, it is more disadvantageous to be a passenger as a player out wide defending than it is if you were playing centrally in a 3 man midfield. (Neto and Podence are more capable of defending out wide)
Wolves are currently lacking in attack. This change will not only help Adama, but it will help them keep all their best attackers in the team: Neto, Podence, Jose, Adama. and it will also rejuvenate Wolves' wing backs and help them link with the wingers.
You might think it's ludicrous, but Wolves need a change, and this could be it.
