The people who run these orgs have a very warped view of reality. She hired workers in Guatemala and Ecuador and basically decided that because they’re poor they’re vulnerable to “trafficking” and she’s helping them by employing them.
This is how she views the marginalized people
SWERFs get mad when we call their model the white (wo)man’s burden or white savior model, but it is. Most people don’t identify as trafficking victims or as modern day slaves. So they often project that label using their white gaze. It’s based on classism, racism, & sexism.

I don’t need to tell you that these people advocate against the decriminalization of drugs, immigration, and sex work. There’s a reason why it’s so hard to gain rights, it’s because people like this profit from us not having any.
There’s programs like this in every state
Powerful, rich, and privileged people get celebrated in the press for “ending slavery“.

They partner up with institutions to target marginalized groups and create a narrative to celebrate themselves as liberators.
