Lot of time for Casey, seems a good egg. Given he made a point of refusing to play Saudi, though, I hope he’s asked about that today (he will not be) if he finishes this off as he should. It’s a fair question and I think his statement to Golf Channel left plenty to follow up on.

It’s very easy to toss questions onto twitter, have to acknowledge that. But on this he is the one who made a stand, so it is absolutely appropriate and relevant. And I have tried to play proper golf journalist but, because I’m not one, his management company have not replied.

I would want someone to ask if the UNICEF logo being removed from his bag has anything to do with it. Probably doesn’t, and he’s still listed among ambassadors, but the giant logo appears to be gone (there may be a smaller one). Again I would think that interests golf audiences.
