Would be really nice if a 12-13 year old rants to you about how hard their life is and you don't say "you're just 12 you don't know anything". Remember when you were 12-13 and you had a moment when life seemed difficult and you just wanted a hug? Maybe they need it to too.
They've never been that age before, they're experiencing life on that level for the first time. It's so sad when I see a 13 year old in pain and someone just says "you're a kid shut up this is nothing"
You've grown up, they're still in the process and maybe they just need help and support
Don't be fucking rude. Be the kind of person you needed when you were that young.
And don't come at with "they're just having little problems". I had my first rape threat at the age of 11, please just be fucking kind when you don't know what's going on
