So it feels like it’s Avocado season in Nigeria and I started wondering if we export them (seeing as they are in such high demand elsewhere) and I found this blurb
I put it to you that we are very unserious. Look at the figures being mentioned there. I’ve never seen a country blessed with natural resources so constantly under-utilised. Does Kenya have two heads?
The current admin is telling people to go to the farm without being strategic. At the very least focus on the crops that will make us bastard money without a lot of effort. But noooooo.

In other news it’s very cool that we have a group called “The Avocado Society of Nigeria.” I am rooting for for them. I hope they find a way to commercialise 🥑 production and earn silly money. WITHOUT GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE.
