A couple of things bothering me about the Jones appointment at #nufc not so much bothering me about his actual appointment as I don’t really know much about him other than what I have seen over the last week but here goes. 1/5
Bruce has said that he wanted the appointment made because Agnew had suffered from covid and Clémence had time off due to his dads passing so had been short of coaches, both valid reasons for time off. They are both clearly at work now, so why the appointment as not short? 2/5
Bruce stated a few weeks back gloves off, my way blah blah etc.
So presumably Jones has 100% completely bought into a signed on the dotted line to do it Bruce’s way and if so why the Jones appointment as surely Bruce knows what his own way is and can communicate it? 3/5

If Bruce does end up walking then initially I thought he would be able to battle for constructive dismissal but he’s come out saying it’s his appointment so that negates that possibility? 4/5
My conclusion is that it’s either a very cunning plan by the shop keeper to avoid paying him compensation by sacking him or it’s a genuine offer of support or it really was Bruce’s appointment but I am struggling with the last option based on tweets 2 & 3. 5/5
