On my Master's course two decades ago were tons and tons of Americans. I asked one of them in class who they thought the greatest country in the world was.
"The US", they answered.
"On what basis? What is your evidence? Have you spent time in every other country?"

No country is the 'greatest in the world'. Every country has good and bad.
