There’s a lot of #ITFC anger and frustration on here this morning, from fans against other other fans, and against players and staff. Let’s remember some simple stuff people - everyone is frustrated currently, but some express that frustration in different ways... 1/7
A player or staff member is just willing this situation to improve. They can’t call for the manager’s head, they just have to hope things turn around. Personally, I have no doubt they are trying to do that. We should give them a break... #ITFC 2/7
Other fans can feel the same way. It is quite likely that Evans won’t make a change for some time yet, perhaps not until the season has gone. None of us can affect that. For some, the coping mechanism is to continue hoping things improve... #ITFC 3/7
And it is worth remembering that we still in with a shout (of play-offs, not automatic imho). This isn’t a reason to support to PL (whose time has gone imho) but it is why some people cling onto every small moment of positivity - a goal, an undeserved point, anything... #ITFC 4/7
And to those giving a hard time to fans (or reporters) calling for PL’s head. They’re not traitors, they have simply run out of patience and fear for the future of a club with Championship (and above) infrastructure in the third tier of British football... #ITFC 5/7
No faction has a monopoly on concern for the club. I doubt there is a single one who isn’t desperate for the last 5/10 years of decline to start reversing. We may have different strategies, or different, firm beliefs of what is the best way of achieving that... #ITFC 6/7
So, while we wait for the change which is surely inevitable in the coming weeks, or maybe months, remember that some of us are fragile right now.
