So I've been thinking about the prophecy in the Book of Revelation and something struck me, a lot of people don't realize that prophecies can be changed or reversed. The Book of Jonah is what I'm using to backup my claim. When Jonah prophesied to Nineveh, they repented and the
Judgement against them was reversed. Most Christians think that since it is written in the Bible, nothing can be done about it. But something about prophecy is, it is almost powerless unless you act upon it. When God sent prophet Isaiah to King Hezekiah, the King changed his fate
By praying to God and God answered. Was Isaiah a prophet? Yes. Did God send him? Yes. But prophecies are like elaborate options for selecting certain events for your future. There are several other instances with similar events.
Back to the Book of Revelation, I believe that the
Prophecies will come to pass, the world is coming to an end, as it should. But I don't agree that so much power should be given to the antichrist. We can change that by 'totally submitting our lives to God and giving up violence' Jonah 3:8.
There's no part of the Bible that says you must end up in hell. Let your life be a Bible to your neighbor. Win a soul for Christ today.
