I wrote hundreds of investigative stories, was hated by one & all, but didn’t attract a single legal notice because I did my duty by presenting facts that were independently / painstakingly verified. It is the JOB of an Editor to ensure that what is reported is fact & not fiction

One can’t have one set of standards for ones juniors or for the rest of the world and another for oneself. If a mistake is made we must stand up and own it instead of whining. If the #media has gone astray, if standards have fallen, it must introspect & correct itself.

If we can’t respect ourselves, we should not force others to either.
