So Detroit gets a much younger QB of similar quality and 2 first rnd picks and a 3rd.

Goff's playoff record is 3-3

Has a SB appearance losing to the Patriots in 2019.

Stafford's playoff record is 0-3

He'll be 33 in a week or two. Not old but not young.

I guess it comes down to your belief in both QBs.

Has Stafford been unlucky being on the Lions? Or is he overrated?

Has Goff personified mediocrity on a good to great team with a good to great coach?

Time will reveal all...

Regardless, giving up what the Rams did is a lot.

Personally, I think Detroit got the better of the deal even if they have to absorb the huge $$ that comes with Goff's contract.
