This is the story of one young woman who went on a seeking arrangement dating site and ended up being kidnapped, and raped by a man who the website claimed went through a background check. She was naive and trusting and that cost her her humanity.
This young woman found herself with no means or help and was encouraged by another person to go on a seeking arrangement app, being assured it was safe and she won't have to do anything she doesn't want to do. She really just wanted a job and wasn't entirely sure what to expect.
As soon as she registered she was flooded with requests to chat. She is a very attractive and very young looking woman. People still confuse her for a 15 yr old girl due to her baby like features. Men in their 40's 50's were sending requests to chat.
She began talking to one man who seemingly just wanted her friendship. She told him how she wasn't sure about this and she probably won't see him. He told her he will help her find a real job and just wants her friendship. He wanted to meet just as friends. Grab a bite or coffee.
He picked her up from her home. She was clean faced, wearing jeans and a sweatshirt. Her casual appearance meant to sent a clear message that this was not a date, but a time spent so she can get to know him and hopefully get a job or financial help.
She got in the car with him and he asked if it was ok if he stopped at a liquor store. She said yes, not knowing he was going to drink in the car while driving. Things started to get very intense. He was driving through dark streets & stopped at an empty parking lot.
He began telling her how she can work for him, but all she felt was trapped. They were alone in his car in the middle of nowhere. All she planned to do that night was chat, maybe have a smoke outdoors, a bite to eat, and call it a night.
I'm going to let her words describe what happened next.
He eventually took her home and that's where she broke down. She called me up crying and distressed. She didn't want to say specifically what happened. So I just stayed on the line with her all night until she was ready.
She's not looking to report this guy. She doesn't want to talk to anyone. She just want to warn young women and girls from this type of predatory behavior that can happen even on sites that guarantee that a background check takes place.
