Thread. I watched the clip of @CrossConnection debate between 2 people of who I respect @TiffanyDCross and @Scaramucci. Did the Mooch apologize for supporting Trump; yes he did, as I have. However, with the conversations I had with marginalized people, I learned we need to take
ownership of ushering in Trump’s presidency. POC & women warned us of who Trump was, and to vote for him was a form of being radicalized. Believing the lies about Democrats and liberal values is a form of radicalization. The root of conservatism is a stem of white nationalism.
And on @TiffanyDCross’s question on how to unradicalize people is to show them that diversity is nothing to fear and hate. Fighting for others' rights is not an infringement of white people's rights. Fighting right-wing propaganda is another way we can help unite our country.
To end this thread, @TiffanyDCross is right that any kind of support of Trump was a form of radicalization. Trump should never had been President and should never had been supported because look at the direction of where the Republican Party is headed.
