Brace yourselves it's a emotional RANT
Another strategic attack on Messi from Bartomeu's puppet Tusquets. First he comes out and says he would've sold Messi. Then when news immerges of Barça on the verge of bankruptcy. He leaks Messi's contract info to the media in an attempt to distort his image.
Messi has given more than enough to Barça as a player to deserve the wages he's earning and in no way is he the one responsible for what's offered to him by Bartomeu and his board. I can't imagine the pain Messi must be going through seeing people within the club demonize him.
After everything he's given this club and continues to give to this club through revenue and performances on and off the pitch. He loves this club and he loves this city. In no way is he responsible for Barça going bankrupt. That falls on the board management.
This is a club who's just recently released records of being over 1 BILLION DOLLARS in debt. The same club who still owes money to several clubs who players don't even play for Barça anymore. The same club who's given these players such big wages.
Bartomeu, Rosell and his goons are the ones responsible for the situation this club is in sportingly and economically. Poor signings, poor planning, careless investments and no sense of accountability or morality. This is another reason why elections should've happened earlier!
This board have gotten themselves into such a mess that the only way they can attempt to save themselves is trying to force out Messi. It's disgusting to witness this as a fan of the club the fact that we have rotten bastards in charge is extremely painful to endure.
This fuels my anger towards those who postponed the elections especially Tusquets and Font. Now when I say Font let me make this clear he is NOT responsible for any of this. However he supported the idea of postponing the elections solely to help his campaign.
As for what happens now I have no idea I have no idea what Messi's thinking at the moment or if he'll respond to this. I haven't even addressed how this damages the club on a sporting front. Barça are about to play in an important match tommorow and now it'll be overshadowed
Tusquets had done exactly what Bartomeu wanted he's come in and done absolutely nothing to stabilize the club if anything he's started more fires and sparked more controversy. He's broken the rules and used covid-19 as an excuse to hold the elections and try to sink the club.
There's a special place in hell for these clowns and I can only hope that when we get a new board hopefully Laporta. That he puts some stern words in place to ensure we never see these types of demons set foot in this club ever again.
I simply can't fathom the fact that they're people who work for Barça with such a twisted agenda and mind. I can't comprehend how we ever got into this situation. How we allowed things to get this bad. I mean honestly where do we go from here.
All I can say is that we as fans support Messi we understand what he's done for this club, this city, and for football. He's always fought for this team no matter the adversity, he's remained loyal for as long as he could even when being constantly stabbed in the back.
Stabbed in the back and demonized by his own club. Him his family, his teammates all ridiculed by the media for the sins of the board members who sit and laugh while the destroy the soul of Fc Barcelona. We've been shamed, humiliated, and mocked.
But in these trialing times we'll stand by the values that made us successful, that made us special, that made us more than a club. The values that inspired Messi to leave his life in Argentina as a child to chase his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
I wish we could tell Messi face to face just how much he means to each and everyone of us. But unfortunately most of us don't even live in the same country as him. I'm heartbroken that the club I fell in love with has fallen so far.
Messi we love you, We always have and we always will no matter what you choose to do you will not carry the sins of Bartomeu and his rats. We will treasure you always. You have been Barça's greatest gift and will never be taken for granted by us.
