Like Wendy was legit run out of NY Black entertainment. When she came back and got on WBLS, we were in the gossip blog era, so she would just be messy with info she pulled offline that she'd run with a bit. But THEN? She was telling shit with no source...

People would fax stuff to her and she'd read it on air, or they'd call and say crazy shit live on air, and Wendy herself would advance ANY rumor. I don't even think she said "allegedly" in those days. And also HEAVILY traded in the space of outing people...

I'm saying this with no qualifications: the stuff Wendy said about people - about their families? There were multiple instances where had she gotten fcked up, I would have understood.

She was even telling Angie Martinez's business. How bold are you to gossip about your coworker? (And Angie def tried to beat her ass)

Like... ok this is a perfect analogy of how Wendy was: y'all know how messy & gleefully nasty & often slightly true with a lot of wrong + assumptions heaped on it lipstick alley is now? All anonymously?
