This quote reads like someone in National didn't read either the Commission's report or the Zero Carbon Act itself.

National proposed seven amendments to the Zero Carbon Act. Privately, senior people in National admitted than five of those changes were unimportant and meaningless – political grandstanding about things that were already in the Bill.

We must not let National or others with dirty, political, vested interests hijack, twist or distort the @ClimateCommNZ's advice into a weapon to divide New Zealanders.
