The story revolves around Sawako, an 'unusual' and shy girl. Over the course of the series, you get to see how Sawako grows as a character and also as a person as she develops confidence and is able to make make friends, something that she was never able to do
But what was the driving force that led her to grow? Kazehaya. Someone that she admired from afar, their meeting was the driving force and turning point of Sawako's school life. The development of this dynamic throughout the series is golden
Another thing about Kazehaya is that compared to Sawako, he is very 'ordinary'. Unlike other Male leads in shoujo's Kazehaya isnt really a flashy character. He's just an honest and kind person which just seems more real to me, and his eyes have been in sawako from start to finish
Cast. The cast of KNI is honestly great. All of the main characters get given their shine and development. They each get good characterisation and their own arcs, which is refreshing to see.
Knt may be a romantic story, but that isnt all that's explored. The story has different themes which are conveyed through each of the characters and their highschool journeys
