Google is addicted to Wall Street-financed browser extensions that are owned by banks (Paypal's Honey + Capital One Shopping) & who buy tons of ads.

The extensions claim to provide "Coupon Lookups" - but they really capture browser history to back-append it to transaction data.
Google is allowing an entire industry to be created that side-channels user browsing history for re-sell via @ https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Achrome.google.com+%22Coupon%22

Would folks on the Chrome Security team let their family install these extensions?
