The fact that Palestine and Palestinians are in this mess, to put it lightly, is because of early Zionists like Herzl drawing up the Balfour Declaration. Early Zionists explicitly said this was a colonialist project to “transfer” Palestinians out. Zionism is the terrorist groups
Stern Gang, Irgun, Haganah moving from town to village to city to massacre and ethnically cleanse Palestinians. Zionism underpins the racist ethnoreligious reign over all of Palestine. Being anti this is a good, noble thing. Zionism is racism.
The Zionist project of Israel is backed by hundreds of billions of dollars of US funding, and thus armed with the most advance weapons. While Palestinian refugees like my father lived off UNRWA food rations because their land, their livelihoods, were stolen from under them.
advanced*. Christian Evangelists in the US are the largest allies and proponents of sustaining Israel’s land theft and military occupation. This has nothing to do with Jews as a people or their Jewishness, but everything to do with a colonial project subjugating innocent people.
I also wanted to add that my whole paternal side is from Safad in north Palestine, where many Palestinian Jews lived, where some of the holiest sites in Judaism are. We have Jewish ancestors, on both sides, and we ARE Semitic people.
I know language changes but Semitic people are not only Jewish — the Semites in the Levant are of diff faiths, incl Christians (+ we have Christian family). Semitic speaking people predate the Abrahamic religions. Being a Semite =/= only being Jewish of the Levant. We are Semites
