Its just a continuation of the big lie by pretending you can reduce everything down to a nonsense comparison instead of any resort to actual debate or values. And it's not like we don't have a super recent example of why that big lie has real life consequences.

I sincerely don't know how we get to a point where the two parties can argue values instead of just talking points with the intellectual coherence of "you used more ballpoint pens than George Washington, and that proves you eat babies", but until we do this country is in trouble
