Allison Groves was an organizer with 10 years of experience when she joined Yang's campaign. She was promised a promotion: deputy director of Iowa strategy.

Timothy Clark, 21 at the time, became Groves’ boss. Groves said she felt Clark sometimes seemed "condescending" and talked down to her.

In a statement to Insider, @AndrewYang admitted his management group had flaws, saying "We were clearly unable to ensure that every employee was heard and respected."
