Went out to the ‘Roskill south’ regeneration neighbourhood yesterday. A lot is happening, fairly quickly too!
My first comment is that although it is a significant uplift in density. It’s not *that* dense. It’s still primarily 2 storeys and feels suburban
The Freeland reserve will be the main green space in the neighbourhood.
While it doesn’t look that pretty right now, once complete it will be similar to Walmsley/Underwood Park section of Te Auaunga Awa
There are some cool prefab walk up apartments on Richardson Rd. Right on the 68 frequent bus route to New Lynn and Onehunga
There are also some nice new pedestrian links and narrow streets going in
This lot of market homes are all under contract within a week or two of being released. Also another prefab solution
