What do these male cartoon characters have in common?
I threw in Ben as a pretty big hint.

* They're all 10! *

This came out of a sidebar between @Paper_Artichoke and I talking about proportions when it comes to a character's age are pretty arbitrary and puzzling. It's all contextual.
A different kind of test: How good to you think you are at discerning age from a line-up?

These characters are all under 10 (and not the same age).
( How good *do you think you are. typo☝️)

Anyway, here's the answer key!

The top row kids fall into a younger category ranging from 2 to 6.
The bottom row kids range 7 to 9.
How design choices like height and face shape weigh is all about the surrounding characters and environment. Their age is easier to specify by comparison.

Another fun way to compare proportions is to match the character heights up. It puts the head-size into perspective.
