So, Wall St and financial elites have ensured a rigged game against ‘plebs’ since time immemorial - often with disastrous consequences (as in 2008 crash), but at #WSB with $GME some saw the shorting game being played out again and fought back. 3/9
How the wagons were circled including brokerages / apps shutting down people’s ability to trade certain stocks in a supposed “free market” was scandalous. It’s not right. The game is still afoot, hopefully it ends with #WSB as David beating the Goliath of TradFi. DeFi and crypto can help redress the balance in future. Being permissionless, censorship-resistant, decentralised it has the means to change or at least even it up. 5/9
Who wouldn’t want control over their financial future and outcomes, trade when and where they want [globally], to be able and encouraged to invest in projects and financial instruments with money and or time and reap rewards - crypto and DeFi’s moment has unarguably come. 6/9
So embrace it, ‘DYOR’ but most of all get involved. This is a unique time. So, to @Royale_Finance. Their main focus is iGaming including online Casinos. Remember that metaphor earlier? So it can be similar IRL too. Here’s a capture from their site at http://royale.finance : 7/9
