A thing that happens a lot to women in the work world is men who have privilege mine women for ideas and guidance and task work and emotional work and then get the byline, the staff job, the ownership stake, the class a shares, the book deal, on and on. Invisible labor.

This happened so so so so much to me when I was young and dumb. I know better now but it’ll be a theme of my life for the rest of my life. Encouraging women and others who are marginalized like BIPOC to understand the dynamics and avoid them.
