1/5 Bird's Eye Chilli

In the spirit of #ZimAgricRising
Last 2019/2020 season was my first attempt at not only Chilli farming, but farming in general. I made my seedling order December 2019 from @corporatefarmg1 and they were ready for planting after 8 weeks end of January 2020.
2/5The Chilli was growing very well until it had flowers. It kept on flowering but no fruits 😩. All because the area i planted was to cold and the flowers were dropping before bearing fruit due to the very cold temp 🌡at night.

3/5 I was devastated 😢 but took it as a learning curve and did not give up. For me that was like my chilli farming schools and also the reason why I only planted 2000 plants so that I learn before planting hectares.

4/5 I did not remove the plants I had planted as Chilli is a perennial crop.
In August the Chilli started growing again and in October I started watering and applying fertilizer, pesticides etc. And it started growing very well and BORE fruits. #ZimAgricRising
5/5 Today I started harvesting and I'm so happy I didn't give up.
I also ordered more seedlings in October from Big Sis @corporatefarmg1 and transplanted 1st week of December. I'm happy with the progress. I'm not a Chilli expert yet but I've learnt a lot.

Next steps we learn more, plant more consider export and value addition.
