Today it's 30th January, the birthday of an unique artist. a man that pours his feelings on every single project he does. influential, impactful and inspirational. Happy birthday, Kid Cudi.

~ A THREAD 🐐 ~
Scott RamĂłn Seguro Mescudi, mostly known as Kid Cudi is an artist, actor and guitarist born in Cleveland the 30th of January of 1984.
His first big appearance was in Kanye's most influential album: 808s and Heartbreak, in the song "Welcome to Heartbreak" In fact, Cudi helped Ye to make this album, having credits as a writer.
In 2008 he releases his first mixtape, "A Kid Named Cudi". This mixtape made Cudi stand out, with songs like "Is There Any Love", "The Prayer" or "Man On The Moon". The first move of the Cleveland's rapper was only the start for what's going to be an inspirational career.
In 2009, Cudder releases his first album "Man On The Moon: The End of Day".

A timeless classic that showed us an Scott chasing his dreams while being concerned by his thoughts. This album is so good that it has Common narrating the story.
With songs like "Alive", "Day N Nite" and "Pursuit of Happiness", Mescudi skyrocketed his career. The man on the moon was talked in every place of USA and even, outside the US.
In fact, Kid Cudi's trilogy is one of the best of all time. The 3 albums had great features, production, relatable lyrics and a vibe that only a man like Cudi can create.
between the second release of Man On The Moon we got a lot of projects. Every album with a different sound, ambience and Cudi in a different mental status and zone while working on them.
Indicud was released in 2013. With features from Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Too Short and even RZA, Cudi released his rage. This album shows the hardest and most incomprehensible Cudi, my personal favorite from him.
In 2014 Satellite Flight has appeared. A psychedelic... rap? rock? album with almost no features that shows the experimental part from Cudi. Probably the most artistic and versatile vision he had in a long time.
In 2015, the most hated album appears... Cudi's mental status was at the lowest. Speedin Bullet 2 Heaven was a cry for help. with mostly rock and punk songs, Scott brings us a dark, chaotic album. He himself said this album was dedicated for people with mental disorders.
Luckily, his venting in SB2H allowed him to recover a bit and work in his next studio album, a tripping album with a modern sound: "Passion Pain and Demon Slayin".

Features like André 3000, Travis Scott and Pharrell Williams make this experience something else.
Wait a moment... In these years we didn't get a feature from Kanye. What happened all these years?

Well, Cudi felt a bit attacked and upset with the fact of ghostwriters in music and wrote tweets directed to Drake and Kanye West. This started a beef...
A beef that wouldn't last too much after Kanye sympathized with Cudi and rejoined together. In 2018, they release one of the best collab albums of all time. An unmatched, melodic chemistry. KIDS SEE GHOSTS
With songs like Reborn, Cudi Montage, Feel The Love, 4th Dimension and collabs with Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) and Ty Dolla Sign, the duo Ye-Cudi made a BIG impact in the industry.

Their performance in Camp Flog Gnaw is one of the best and most memorable of the decade.
In 2020, Cudi finished the Man On The Moon trilogy.

With songs like "The Void", "Tequila Shots" and features from Skepta, Pop Smoke, Trippie Redd and Phoebe Bridgers, Cudi ended this trilogy very well. One of the best releases from 2020.
Cudi also has a talent to speak besides music. In 2015, he returned to his high school to have a TED Talk about his musical career, and the worst moments in his life.

A truly inspirational podcast for everyone that needs support.
CONCLUSION:

Cudi is the rawest artist in the industry. He never cared about what kind of music is going to do, feelings were his best way of expressing himself. These two songs saved myself from cutting. And overall, i'm grateful to Cudi for being himself. Thank you ❀
