So there's this BoBo fetishisation of an idealised gritty "real", which Jarvis sort of shrugs about. But the anthemic chorus is a kind of joyful finger to the rich aesthetes, who'll never truly access that "real". So it re-fetishises it (and we all sing along in the indie disco).
