Rohith was murdered on 17th Jan'16, the JNU sedition row started on 9th Feb, n the Budget Session in Parliament started on 23rd Feb.

When it was the time to debate, both the issues of JNU n Rohith Vemula was clubbed together. All parties except ONE supported this...

N that is exactly what happened! Ven d discussions shd hv been on Institutional Casteism, it was rather deviated to useless topics like "Nationalist vs Anti-National"..

BSP was the only party which demanded that d two matters be taken up separately, n didn't let d house function till that was the case.

A main demand of BSP was that a Scheduled Caste member must be included in the Judicial Inquiry Commission, set up for proving the murder of Rohith Vemula.

BTW.. Any guesses on which parties gave the notice to club together the two issues?

Hint: "Lal-Bhagwa ek hai.."

After the incident, Behenji met Rohith's mother and brother in Delhi, and lent an ear to their grievances. The latter even appreciated Mayawati ji for her stance in the parliament.

Vijay Kumar Pedapudi, Vemula's friend, who was one amongst the 5 students expelled from UoH.

Not many would be aware of d fact that he contested the 2019 AP assembly polls on a BSP ticket from the unreserved Parchur constituency, that too w/o a single penny in his pocket

Those who used Rohith's death to rise in politics cld not even spare a single tweet in Vijay's support. Even Vijay was also a victim of the same kind of discrimination n torture like Rohith, but sadly he won't get even 1% of the coverage that our "Bhumihar Marx" got!!
