Series 2 of 2

Around 6pm on a Thursday evening last year, a memo that required @profosinbajo to be in another country in less than 24 hours came in. I watched as our ADC delivered the message and I was expecting some shock from him about this being so last minute
but what I observed with my camera was quite the opposite. Instead, he replied with a calm, “what time are we leaving?”

Boarding the plane, I observed the luggage officer carting boxes of briefs and files.
Curiously, I asked “who gonna’s read all these?” he laughed and replied, “e be like say you know know oga. E go finish this thing before we land.”

And he did!
Fast forward into his speech where he dazzled & had jaws dropping just a few minutes in. You could be tempted to call it stuff of genius, but we all know it wasn’t that.
It’s simply because his preparation for days like these & successes like this didn’t begin when he got that memo.

It has always been his every day approach.

Life just happens. Opportunities are fleeting, & you never know when destiny comes calling. But you can be ready.
For a VP, it could be something that can be game changing for your country and for a photographer like me, it could be a simple shot that becomes history tomorrow. What makes the difference is how prepared one is to capture & win that moment.
While you build great habits, bear in mind that you might just be practicing for destiny — for the moment that can change your life or country. Invest in your time in those consistent moments of practice and preparedness. It works.

Be BORN READY.
