Good news is infection rate is way down since we closed the country a month ago. From >4000 down to ~430.

More good news is that hospitals are under decreased pressure. Bit of a tail for people in intensive and on ventilators (bottom two lines) from December spike.

So the epidemic is decreasing.
This is a product of heavy lockdown.
Schools closed, higher ed closed, shops closed. Everything except essential services.

Rate of the British variant B.1.1.7 is increasing in tests, and it is expected to overtake the wild type in a few weeks.
R for this variant is currently calculated 1.2. So it is growing despite current restrictions.

This is why authorities and government will keep the country closed (including it's borders) until March at least.

Take home is that B.1.1.7 looks to be a beast, and is hard to stop even if it isn't running rampant
