White, suburban women - mostly mothers - are main drivers of QAnon, the far-right conspiracy movement which the FBI labelled a terrorist threat in 2019. The audacity of white womanhood obscures & obfuscates violence that white women are allowed to get away with. In pre-election video, MTG is seen endorsing political violence. “The only way you get your freedoms back is it’s earned with the price of blood”
I will be looking further into the ways that fascism and white supremacy are being feminized and made palatable via these increasingly vocal and visible white, blonde women.
