#OTD 49 years ago, the #British army murdered 13 civilians in #Derry #Ireland.
Many of the victims were just 17 years old and were running from army violence, many were shot in the back, one was shot whilst holding his hands in the air shouting “Don’t Shoot”.

Shot in the back as he was running away from soldiers, as he lay dying he was shot again in the back.
