OMG I ORDERED THE WRONG BOOK CAKE FOR MYSELF.

I’m just sitting here laugh-crying and going, “Goddamn that is one hell of a gorgeous cake of NOT MY BOOK.”

Between this and getting the date of my own book event wrong, I’m doing this whole launch thing right.
UPDATE: I called the baker all sad and she laughed for about a full minute (because clearly LIKE ALL OF YOU she is a sadist) and then said she’ll send over an edible print of the correct cover. So YAAAAY!!!
SECOND UPDATE: She said the delivery guy is here but there’s no one outside and GUYS SHE SENT IT TO THE WRONG HOUSE. I swear this cake doesn’t want to be made right
THIRD UPDATE: IT’S HEEEERE!!!! ...and it’s the wrong size. I just

For those asking, this was the photo I sent to the baker (But I had asked her to make it rectangular and minus the flowers since mine is a suspense) A beautiful example of a book cake!

Ta da! I love how you it’s a little bit see through so I can be reminded of my cakefail. But it truly is a beautiful cake (those pages! How did she do it? And the flowers in the pages!) and thank you all for coming along this saga with me.
