@NicolaSturgeon
@theSNP
@YesScot

During the period in which the SNP have been in power, physical and verbal attacks against not only trans people, but all members of the LGBT community have increased exponentially.

I campaigned hard for Independence in 2014 in the first
2.

Referendum. I campaigned because I believed that an independent Scotland could genuinely be a better place for ALL of its citizens, and that finally we'd be the land of Jock Tamson's bairns that we all aspire to, and frankly, pretend to be even at this moment.
3.

Even after our defeat, I plugged on and spread what I considered to be the good word of a party and movement transforming Scotland for the better.

I leafleted, chapped the doors, did the stalls, paid all I could, and personally spoke at several Yes/Pro Independence events.
4.

That all ends now. It's finished.

I would seriously put it to @NicolaSturgeon, my MP (who has been fantastic on these issues but is only one man) @MrJohnNicolson, and @KeithBrownSNP

Why should we vote for an Independent Scotland where our rights are brought into doubt?
5.

@NicolaSturgeon whether you want to admit this or not. YOU caused this. Your lack of willingness to act and nip these well documented increases in anti LGBT hate crime in the bid has likely cost more than a few trans and other LGBT people their lives, some tragically...
6.

I assume at their own hands.

Having watched your video the other night, I had some hope that there might have been genuine and real moves to remove this cancer from our once beautiful and egalitarian country, but following your half-hearted response to

The questions put to you at FMQs the other day by @patrickharvie and @scotgp.

Your empty words and lack of swift and decisive action, and your willingness to turn trans people into pawns in an inter-party dispute will neither be forgive nor forgotten in either the next
8.

Referendum, never mind the coming elections in May.

You went from once leading Pride rallies in Glasgow to presiding over the worst governmental and party political backsliding on these basic human rights issues in the UK. Period.
9.

I reiterate. Why should I vote for an Independent Scotland where our government is willing to play hard and fast with our lives, dignity, and futures?

A government that, even pre-independence, seeks to effectively legalise transphobia on a massive and unprecedented scale.
10.

Your utter lack of leadership and energy in dealing with this crisis has, frankly, resulted in the downgrading of Scotland's promising human rights reputation around the world.

International observers can't but ask what went wrong, @NicolaSturgeon.

What did go wrong?
11.

You and your party got lazy and complacent, just like Labour did, and now think people owe them a vote for either standing for independence, or pretending to stand in a progressive platform.

The reality is that @theSNP stand for absolutely nothing at all.
