"I was just doing my job" is the excuse for a lot of evil.

If your job requires you to do evil (or turn a blind eye to it) then quit your job.

There are millions of job opportunities, but you only get one soul and once it's gone it's hard to get back.

The fact that so many people find this contentious is actually very concerning...
