Finished Monogatari

It encourages its viewers to strive for the best future possible, to overcome their fears by opening up to others, & to carry their regrets instead of indulging in them

Not exaggerating when i say this story changed me & gave me comfort. 10/10 & my new top 3

I started Monogatari back in June 2020 and at the time, I was at my lowest point mentally and suffering from suicide crisis, I would spend weeks indulging in my depressing thoughts & using any means necessary to escape my disheartening reality. Watching Monogatari helped me

find something that can comfort me, that can give me warmth, and give me hope in life with its inspiring messages about love. There are so many times where watching Monogatari helped me feel better about myself bc of how connected I was to the characters

Seeing Araragi overcome his self deprecating nature & feeling satisfied after opening his heart out to Hitagi and learning to learn from his experiences instead of regretting them by loving Hitagi inspires me to strive for a better future

I'm genuinely touched by this story and I'm so grateful for having experienced it, it gave me ground to work on to build myself up.
