Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto, despite his desperate attempts to convince people he is while claiming not to care whether people think he is.
I want to explore one piece of evidence for Craig’s lies and desperation by looking at his copy of the whitepaper with his name on

The original version of the whitepaper, created by the real Satoshi Nakamoto, is now all over the internet.
Satoshi him/her/themself put it online at http://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf which Craig recently threatened legal action via @SimonCohen85 for being there.

At the time of writing this same bitcoin.pdf is still available at this address

Craig has created at least two different versions of the whitepaper with his name on. The one currently online as I write is available here

For the sake of argument, let’s assume that Craig’s claims are true. If so one expects:
A) Craig wrote the WP and **exported** it to pdf in 2008.
B) He should have all the original files.
C) So he could create a modified version by exporting from these files.

Looking at the metadata of the original bitcoin.pdf file, we find several things:
1) filesize 184292 bytes
2) pdf version 1.4
3) Creation date Tue Mar 24 18:33:15 2009 CET

Now look at the equivalent metadata in Craig’s bitcoin-white-paper.pdf file:

The identical creation date means that Craig’s version of the whitepaper with his name on it was created by modifying the original bitcoin.pdf NOT by simply modifying his original supposed original OpenOffice documents and exporting them to pdf.
According to the moddate, this modification was only made a few days ago (at the time of me writing this Tweet). And the fact that Craig modified the original bitcoin.pdf file is why his version is so much bigger than the original.
Assuming that Craig Wright is telling the truth and all his claims are true, then why on earth would Craig create the version of the WP with his name on in this way? Why not just change the original documents and export them to pdf?
The reason is that Craig doesn’t have the original ODT document, nor the original copies and drafts of the diagrams, to export it to pdf. So if he tried to export a copy to pdf, it wouldn’t look like the WP. It would take loads of work and experimentation to recreate it.
So returning to our original expectations that arise assuming Craig’s claims are true:
C) He has not created a modified version by exporting from the original files—simplest explanation for this is that…

The claim that Craig is Satoshi is not true. He’s lying. And now he’s modifying a pdf originally created by someone else to try and bolster this false claim.

Just in case Craig's copy mysteriously disappears:
